Objective
To raise awareness for the Indian Deaf Cricket team participating in the international tournament. Increase the reach and get more sponsors on board to promote the cause which will help in reaching the masses to promote specially-abled players.
Execution
Cricket has been one of the most popular sports in India. But specially-abled cricket is not very often watched segment. We created awareness about deaf cricket among the audience.
We posted it in 3 phases: pre, during and post tournament
Conceptualized and build the sampaign to maximize the reach
Showcased the team on social media
Targeted audience across various geography & primarily in India
Leveraged the main-stream cricketers like Yuvraj Singh & Shikhar
Dhawan to promote the campaign and motivate the players.
Output
In 20 days of the announcement of the tournament, 81 posts and 14 reels went live generating massive viewership organically. We have received 13 lakh+ organic impressions, 3 lakh+ organic reach, and 1.5 lakh+ organic engagement. A 400% rise in the number of followers on Instagram, a 150% increase in page likes on Facebook and a 120% increase in followers on Twitter shows the success story of the tournament.
