  1. The core objective was to use media channels to position Queensland as one of India’s preferred destination for trade, investment, and business expansion.
  2. Apart from strengthening the trade and commerce, positioning Queensland as a premier study abroad destination for Indian and international students was also a key highlight.

Strategy

To achieve the objectives and position Queensland as a preferred business and
academic destination the following tactics were utilised:

  • Showcasing Ministers visits to generate conversations within the administrative level
  • Highlighting key advantages of Queensland
  • Showcase the world class facilities

Execution

  • SELECT MEDIA INTERVIEWS of Ministers, Queensland businesses and Educational Institutes
  • AUTHORED ARTICLES informative/ educational industry pieces to establish thought leadership
  • INDUSTRY/ TREND STORIES on relevant topics related to the education, trade, investment
  • ARTICLES of Education Fairs to spread awareness about Queensland based institutes

Result

After successfully implementing the strategy, TIQ has garnered over 750 coverages between March 2022 and March 2023 and has witnessed a 65% increase in its total share of voice as compared to the year before.
